What do you like most about working in healthcare marketing?
I like how small healthcare marketing efforts impact such large population and have a blanket impact.
What frustrates you most about working in healthcare marketing?
I wish regulation could be used as guidelines to foster innovation rather than considered as restrictions. Most of the time in healthcare marketing we use regulation to delay adoption of technological advancement, which are big success in other categories.
What’s one challenge you want to solve this year?
I want to focus on partnership accords to the healthcare ecosystem. I feel collaboration can bring advancement we need in the healthcare industry that can unify silos.
Pick one: In-office, hybrid or remote work? Why would that be your choice?
In-office, as it fosters productivity and helps in defining boundaries between professional and personal life.
Who is your hero, and why?
I don’t have one hero as I feel there is always something that you can learn from every single individual. Everyone is good at something.
Where do you want to be, professionally and personally, 10 years from now?
Professionally, I want to lead an incubation center that allows new ideas to rise and advance in the healthcare technology space.
What is your favorite piece of media (book, TV show, movie, band or song)? What about it resonates strongly with you?
A 30-second commercial resonates most with me as I feel it’s mesmerizing to have a convincing story in such short time.
What’s one piece of advice for the future generation of leaders?
Empower your team to make decisions and stand by those decisions. This enables you to not only have empowered teams but helps you build a team of leaders that also leads to growth.
What’s the biggest roadblock you have overcome in your career to get to where you are today?
I was fortunate to work in multiple global markets and understand the nuances of each market; navigating and implementing that understanding is one of the biggest challenges and strengths that has allowed me to be who I am today.
