In a historic moment for India at the Cannes Lions International Festival of Creativity 2025, Doceree has won Silver in partnership with Alkem Laboratories and Lowe Lintas for the DawAI Reader campaign—marking the first award for India in Pharma Lions at this year’s festival. The accolade recognizes groundbreaking initiative in healthcare, spotlighting how digital innovation can significantly enhance healthcare accessibility in underserved areas.
The DawAI Reader by Alkem, is a powerful AI-based tool designed to read and decode handwritten prescriptions for patients in rural and remote parts of India—where access to pharmacists or educated interpreters is limited. By enabling people to understand the medicines prescribed to them in their local language, the innovation bridges a crucial gap in the care continuum, thereby significantly elevating healthcare outcomes in rural India.
